Dr. Uzodinma Adirieje is an internationally recognised Global Health and Sustainable Development consultant/strategist, and organisational development expert with over two decades of experience in multi-sectoral policy, programme design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation across Africa and the Global South. His work spans Global Health, climate change, sustainable livelihoods, gender equality, governance, peacebuilding, and human security. As CEO of Afrihealth Optonet Association (AHOA), Dr. Adirieje has led transformative initiatives funded by UN agencies, bilateral and multilateral donors, international NGOs, and national governments. Sustainable Citizen Participation (SCP) in Nigeria’s Niger Delta Region.

Achieved 78% project completion rate (exceeding its original target of 60%), significant community ownership of development interventions, and sustained post-project advocacy in several LGAs. Supervised the execution of the SCP, trained 162 CSO leaders, and monitored 81 activities in 81 communities/LGAs. Generated widespread media attention, with more than 75 radio, TV, and online reports spotlighting local governance issues
